Hydraulic Release

Application 

It is used for fracturing, acidification, testing string and other constructions.

After improvement, use hydraulic release instead of release by unscrewing. It solved the problem that unscrewing is not allowed after well completion or because of other reasons. It is widely used in a variety of production process in the string.

Structure and work principle

It is mainly composed of upper joint, piston, shearing pin, connecting sleeve, lower joint and so on.

Connected with the top of packer or other tools, it reaches designed position along column. After completion, if string is blocked when pulling or process requires to drop tools below hydraulic release to well, throw a steel ball(φ42) in tubing and then increase pressure by injecting liquid to break shearing pin to release.
