1. Application

The solid anti-paraffin device is used in well with high paraffin content and high freezing point. It can improve fluidity and decrease the freezing point of crude oil, prolong the paraffin removal circle and reduce the paraffin block operation circle. Through adjusting ration of all components in the formula, solution speed in the crude oil and the in the different oil layer temperature can be controlled.

2. Structure and Principle of Anti-paraffin and Pour Point Depression

Solid anti-paraffin device is composed of metal loader, fine filter device, guiding device and solid wax-proofing agent.

a. The solid anti-paraffin agent is a kind of high polymer which is mainly composed of PE and other assistants. It is polymerized by high temperature-high pressure and oxygen. With the branch chain structure, it can be easily disperse in the oil and form the network structure.

b. Paraffin has the same chain unit as PE, and it can form the network structure all over crude oil when the density is small. So wax can be easily separated out in network structure and separate from each other. It not easily deposit in inner surface of tube. It can be easily taken out to the ground together with the oil flow.

3. Characteristics

• The solid anti-paraffin agent and the matching devices are put in the tail pipe at a time together with column. The operation procedure is very simple.
• The well doesn’t need wax proofing agent and hot-washing, so the cost is saved.
• Protect the oil layer from damage due to the hot-washing;
• Reduce persistence time of the washing fluid in well.
