1. Application

It’s also named aluminum alloy bridge plug  and it is customer made according to well condition. It has high drillability and used together with the sand and cement, leaving no fragment in well after drilling and plugging. After filling sand and cement, the plug is corroded slowly to make preparation for next drilling and plugging. It is mainly used in oil, gas, or water well with normal conditions, or used in well with casing deformation, jetting or paraffin deposit. It’s used to take place of sand filling and cement plugging.

2. Work Principle

Work principle: the bridge plug connects with delivery device. Choose tension bar (can be pulled broken under rated tension) and lower the tool to desired position by oil pipe. Give the pressure to wash the column clean, deliver the ball and give another pressure. When the pressure is up to 3.0-4.0Mpa, the hydraulic tool begins to work and lower joint bush pushes plug self-lock sleeve go down to open anchoring and sealing devices. When the pressure is up to 10-12MPa (have sth to do with the size of tension bar), finish plugging and locking. The pressure decreases quickly when the bar is broken.

Lower the column slowly to find the fish top and press by 2-3KN to make sure it is plugged successfully.

3. Characteristics

1) Reasonable design and Simple structure, success rate more than 99%.

2) Strong drillability, drill completely. The aluminum alloy material has strong drillability and corrodibility.
