1. Application
It’s used to extract oil by layer, eliminate or reduce interference between oil layers and increase output. It’s applicable to the well which has serious interference between layers, but with enough fluid supply, little sand and wax. It also can be used to inject gas from upper layer and extract oil from lower layer.
2. Structure and Principle
It mainly consists of oil pump extracting oil simultaneously from layers, packer with self-lock compensation, pipe centralizer and lifting shorts.
When plunger ascends, the fixed valve opens and lets oil and gas mixture go into upper pump cylinder. Gas enters storage room because of small density. Gas is sealed in air-storage room when plunger descends. When descending, gas enters oil pipe as showed in right fig.. This is the complete process how oil and gas discharged to pump cylinder.
3. Characteristics
1) There is a gasstorage bag installed in the pump cylinder, which is a new channel for downhole gas. It can prevent air lock of the upper oil pump caused by lower oil layer.
2) Renew design of the distributor can eliminate interference between layers caused by pressure differential. The specific double inlet ensures fluid in two oil layers will not interfere with each other.
3) The strength of overbridge pump cylinder is increased. Without using ring valve, the fixed valve is more reliable and the OD is small.
4) Packer can be sealed by itself and is installed pipe compensator. This prolongs service life of the packer and the whole pipe string.
